We had 35 runners and walkers participate in this year's Firecracker 4000 held on July 3rd.  The 4000 meter course was run behind the college with a steady uphill climb in the beginning and a fast down hill finish.   The first place male runner was Miguel Rosales with a time of 17:00.  The first place female runner was Heather Boberg with a time of 22:59.  The first male walker was Jim Murray, and the first female walker was Jean Boaz. Each of the participants received a 4th of July key ring and the winners received flag drinking glasses.
