Bike Trail Loop

This is a short loop above the college, featuring a nice singletrack bike trail. It's just short of 3 miles, and about 300 feet elevation gain.

Bike Trail Route Map

Leave the College Trailhead dirt parking lot at the southwest corner and head southwest, then west. When you top a rise at about .75 miles, the road bends southwest. At about .9 miles, turn right uphill. When you crest that hill, at about 1 mile, look for a singletrack going left, uphill, and take it. Just before coming to a high point, the trail turns sharply left. Keep following the trail, and when it crosses another road, look for the trail to continue on the other side. Continue following the trail as it curves south and finally does come out on a road. Turn left on this road and cross a prominent road (RC5) before turning downhill at the next junction and soon rejoining RC5. Take the singletrack options paralleling the road. Save some energy for a final uphill stretch on RC4. Watch your routemap for the final turn downhill on RC78, and continue back to the parking lot.

The green buttons will take you to a Course page on Garmin Connect, or a Route on Strava or MapMyRun. If you need a .gpx file, you will be able to download that from any of these route pages. You can review the route navigation instructions here.
